Ryan graduated with degrees in philosophy and Spanish from Saint John's University in 2000 and graduated from New York University School of Law in 2003. After clerking and working as an associate at two Minnesota law firms, Ryan joined Lubov & Associates in 2007, where he practices family law. While he understands the benefits of reaching settlement on all issues, Ryan will not hesitate to litigate when necessary. As Treasurer, Ryan has been a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association Family Law Executive Counsel since 2005. He is also an active member of the Planning Committee for the annual Family Law Institute. Having grown up playing in the Bloomington Jefferson hockey and soccer programs, Ryan enjoys the ongoing opportunity to play and coach those sports. Away from the office, the mediation conference room, and the courtroom, Ryan enjoys water-skiing in the summer, pond hockey in the winter, and spending time with his wife, Katie, and daughter, Olive, all year long.
